The honest comparison

Compare us.
Carefully.

Hims, Ro, your local med-spa, us. The real differences are not in the ads. They are in what you pay at month six, who actually reads your case, and what happens when you want out. Here is the whole picture, including where we are not for you.

02 · The one-number method

Everything you’d pay by month six,
divided by six.

Ignore the ad. Add the medication, the membership, the consults, and the renewal rate at the dose your physician is likely to reach. Divide by six. That number is the only price that can be compared across programs, because month six is where intro rates expire and dose titration levels off. Ask it of every program, ours included.

03 · Where we’re not for you

Honesty cuts both ways.

You want in-person visits

A physician-led med-spa gives you a face-to-face relationship, priced accordingly. We are telehealth, deliberately.

You want insurance billing

Conduit is cash-pay. Some members use HSA/FSA funds where their plan allows, but we do not bill insurance.

You live outside Texas

We operate in one state on purpose. If that is not yours, one of the national platforms genuinely is your better option.

04 · Straight answers

The questions that decide it.

Is Conduit cheaper than Hims or Ro?+

Sometimes, not always. Their promotional first-month rates change constantly. The honest comparison is total cost at month six: add everything you would pay (medication, membership, consults, the renewal rate at your likely dose) and divide by six. Conduit is one all-in number from $129/mo on a 12-month plan, so our month-six math is the advertised price. Run the same math on any program and compare.

What does Conduit deliberately not have?+

A national footprint (Texas only, by design), an in-person exam room, and a menu of hundreds of medications. We treat four goals: weight, recovery, vitality, and skin, with one physician standard and one number on the price tag.

Why does a named physician matter?+

Continuity. Large platforms route you to whichever clinician is available; your case history travels, but the relationship rarely does. At Conduit the same medical director reads your intake, your check-ins, and your messages. Dose changes are made by someone who has followed your case from day one.

Is a med-spa better because it is in person?+

In-person contact is real value, and it is priced accordingly, usually without telehealth’s convenience or transparent pricing. If you want monthly face-to-face visits at that price point, a physician-led med-spa is a legitimate choice. Conduit is built for people who want physician management without the waiting room.
